Diet: Feeds on seeds on the ground, eucalyptus blossoms, fruit and seeds from cereal crops.
Habitat: Riverine and flood-plains, open forests and woodlands.
Breeding: Four to six eggs are laid between September and December, nest is a hollow in a tree.
